Anne Walsh
Heather Christie
Anne is a singer, vocal healer, and transformational coach. With a background in classical singing, she has a BA in Vocal Performance and Music Education. Her technique lays a foundation for clients to experience play, vocal finesse, and cultivate deep listening. Her work goes beyond opening the voice and moves into somatic experience, play, introspection to discover what lies underneath the voice fueling it. It is a co-creation between artist and artist facilitator. Anne’s background in opera and choral singing informs the technique that she builds into the fabric of her sessions that synthesize together all components of vocal production as they intersect and relate with our own unique operating systems and beliefs we have that surround the voice. Anne has been performing, teaching, and coaching for the past 15 years, working as a high school and middle school choir director in Minnesota, teaching abroad at Cayman International School as the Performing Arts Director, before moving to Germany to perform and work with The Lyric Opera Studio Weimar. She opened her own coaching studio as a vocal coach upon moving to Los Angeles in 2017. Anne currently resides in Topanga, CA. She is one of three members of the soul-folk trio Honeywild, a music project born in Topanga Canyon in August of 2020. In addition, you can find Anne regularly guiding sound meditations, working on her first solo EP, leading song circles, collaborating on musical projects, or doing improv comedy around town!
Heather Christie is a folk-soul singer, producer, DJ, and the founder of motherhood-focused record label, Möonbabe Records. Her indelible curiosity and independence have led her on a lifelong creative journey exploring the performing arts, dance, and music production. After releasing music through several collaborative projects, she’s harnessed her cumulative talent and DIY spirit under her own name.
Heather has co-founded the music projects Feral Fauna, Silk Drop, Honeywild, and Sirens of Soul, with Feral Fauna’s “Tincture” gaining viral recognition with millions of streams. In 2016, she was on American Idol’s “Hollywood Week” episode as a second-round finalist. Today she’s fascinated by the music of other cultures with her focus on writing, singing, and producing her tribal house tracks—and releasing them on her label. For live shows, she DJs, sings, and dances while her husband accompanies her on world instruments, such as the sintir from Morocco.
Her first child, a daughter named Naya, reinforced her belief that there should be a holistic space within the music industry where female music artists and mamas are celebrated and supported. Möonbabe Records is her answer. She leads through empowerment, for herself and other creatrix mothers, and empathetically maneuvers time constraints while honoring the feminine cycles.
