About me:
I’m Heather Christie. I’m a mentor, mama, and music artist.

I find ultimate joy through creative expression, and through serving others in uplifting their most joyful expression. I deem great responsibility in learning and teaching the arts of music production. I am self-taught in Ableton and have been studying, producing and releasing music through the DAW since 2012.
I have a BA in dance + philosophy from the University of Washington, a certificate in music business from Clive Davis School of Recorded Music at NYU, and I’m a certified yoga teacher + former student of expressive arts therapy at Tamalpa Institute. My former projects include Feral Fauna with KR3TURE and Silk Drop with Subaqueous. I’m a born co-creator and currently work with my female band Honeywild. I have a music label for mamas + female artists called Möonbabe Records. I look forward to meeting and serving YOU in your education and musical enlightenment.

This is a workshop geared toward offering concrete tools for those who are already producing to implement immediately into their workflow, AND give those who are just learning or curious an idea about what can be done and how much fun it can be to work in the program!

No! Of course, the more you are invested in your production process the more you will gain from this workshop. However, you can always download a free trial of Ableton if you want to just check it out and play around. From https://ableton.com

Music production is often something that is taught in a technical-heavy way, and I like to empower the inner artist to find their flow from a more intuitive, embodied viewpoint. This is an inclusive space and judgment-free learning environment.
